CASPer test dates and fees

Important information about your test dates

Test times are in the North American Eastern time zone: EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) or EST (Eastern Savings Time), unless indicated otherwise.

Ensure to register for your test at least three days before your preferred test date and time to account for identity verification and payment processing timelines. Last-minute bookings are not recommended. If you require testing accommodations you must submit all necessary forms and supporting documentation 3 weeks prior to the time of your scheduled test.

In order to register for a CASPer test, you must create a CASPer account with the following:

  • Government-issued photo ID (English/French)
  • Valid email address
  • Working webcam
  • Working microphone

CASPer results are only valid for a single admissions cycle, and only for the test type (American Health Sciences, Canadian Health Sciences, etc.) for which you have taken the test. You will need to take a separate CASPer test for future admissions cycles or different program types, including for programs offered in different countries or languages. Applicants are not permitted to take a CASPer test type more than once per admissions cycle.

All fees are final, non-refundable, and valid only for the then-current admissions cycle.

Important information about your test fees:

All fees are final, non-refundable, and valid for the then-current admissions cycle. You are strongly encouraged to only reserve a test or add a program to your score distribution list once you are certain that you need to.

The fee to take the CASPer test varies by program type and country. Generally, CASPer fees consist of two components:

  1. A fee to take CASPer
  2. A fee to distribute your score to the selected individual programs

*Applicants applying to Canadian programs: You MUST take a CASPer test in the language of the program you are applying to, unless otherwise indicated.

There is no fee for Snapshot during this admissions cycle. To learn more about the description in the “Snapshot” column, please visit the Snapshot page.
