OUAC ID and ORPAS ID – What’s the difference?
If you are intending to apply to any Ontario Rehabilitation Science Programs, you will have undoubtedly heard about the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) and Ontario Rehabilitation Science Programs Applications (ORPAS) IDs. For those who have not, click here to learn more. This article will discuss ORPAS/OUAC IDs as they pertain to your CASPer test.
If there is one thing you take away from this article, it is that your ORPAS and your OUAC IDs are the same. If you are applying electronically, you will receive your ORPAS ID from the OUAC website. If you are applying by paper, your ORPAS ID will be printed on your application package. The ORPAS/OUAC IDs are ten digits (eg. 2020 followed by six digits).
On the CASPer ‘Dates and Fees’ page, you will see that some programs will require your ORPAS ID, OUAC ID, or request for either or. It is important to ensure that you have provided the correct identification requirements as they are essential for academic programs to be able to correctly assign your CASPer score to your application for admission.
